What is Moderation?

Moderation refers to the process of monitoring and auditing assessment to ensure that it is valid, consistent, fair and sufficient. Moderation is a process that helps to ensure consistency of judgements. The judgements made by assessors in different locations and organisations must be comparable

Demonstrate understanding of moderation within the context of an outcomes-based assessment system;
Plan and prepare for moderation;
Conduct moderation;
Advise and support assessors
Report, record and administer moderation, and
Review moderation systems and processes
What can I do after the training?

This service will be of particular interest to companies that do not yet have an in-house moderator to fulfil this function.
