Loi Krathong is an annual traditional Thai festival, which will be celebrated at the Brightwater Commons on 24 November from 12pm.
The annual festival parade will kick off at 1pm. Thai dignitaries will lead the parade and everyone is invited to join in and enjoy cultural dress, language and music.
The Promotions Court at Brightwater Commons will be transformed into 'little Thailand' with exquisite and authentic decor filling every corner and showcasing the multiple exhibition and food stalls. Even the kids will be able to enjoy traditional Thai cuisine with dishes being prepared to suit sensitive palettes.
The festival will cater to the whole family, with entertaining clowns, face painting for children and a kiddie's mosaic workshop.
A glamorous prize including six nights and seven days accommodation, including taxes and transfers - for two to Thailand will be up for grabs. A raffle ticket for this prize will be on sale for R20 and will be available both electronically and at the event.
