Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking and the department of arts and culture present
"a course on digital media: how to make it work best for you".
Social media has transformed the media landscape, influencing the kind of content we produce and distribute and also the ways in which we publish or broadcast.
This course will open your eyes to new ways of thinking about content and how one truly reaches and engages with one's audience. Is Facebook simply a way to link up with your friends or is it the future of marketing? Is Twitter a chat forum or a place to start new trends? Can you use digital media to expose your brands to new people?
The course is run by Astrid Ascar, founder of Summit TV and Home Channel and one of South Africa's few experts on Transmedia.
