Choko Live
After many years of causing waves in all the right ways, one of South Africa's rising stars "Choko" aka Boichoko Qwabe is finally ready to step into the spotlight.
Set for 2 November at The Promusica Theatre in Roodeport, CHOKO LIVE promises to be the sultry singer's official introduction into the world of music. Supported by music heavy weights such as Kwela Tebza and Howza, Choko is thrilled to finally share her music which she has been working on for a couple of years.
More than sharing her talent, CHOKO LIVE is an evening dually dedicated to raising funds to support one of the causes close to Choko's heart; "The Book Cover Initiative", a project Choko initiated to address the lack of educational stationery for children from impoverished backgrounds.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards the purchasing of book covers for students across South Africa for the 2013 School Year period.
