Event Format
CITi Café Conversation (Round Table Discussions and Development of Common "Graphic" Roadmap)
Desired Outcome
Each round table, which will include a mix of invitees, will focus on answering four specific questions:
How will we know we have been successful at addressing the ICT Skills Pipeline "Problem"?
What common "possibilities" framed as tangible "targets" should we aim to achieve?
What tangible actions can we take in the short to medium term, either individually or collectively, to set ourselves onto the road to achieve these targets? (It is only through actions taken in each present moment that we will achieve our possibilities.")
How will we measure our progress?

Why is this event important?
ICT skills is a "wicked problem" and inadequate coordination of initiatives and the lack of a shared action plan to address the pipeline of ICT skills from primary school onwards, are undermining the growth and competitiveness of not only the ICT sector, but all IT enabled sectors in the Western Cape and South Africa.
