Photo and film expo

The Photo and Film Expo is the largest event of its' kind on the African continent, catering to Photographers, Filmmakers, the advertising industry and related media.

This annual event held at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg sees over 20 000 visitors, most of whom attend for multiple days due to the vast number of FREE workshops and demonstrations offered.
Over 100 unique presentations take place in six arenas over four days!

In addition to the workshops over 350 industry brands represent their products at the event and offer them to the public at exceptional show specials.
Over R100 Million in retail turnover takes place at the event as a result of these specials.

New products are released to the African markets at the event and visitors are able to test the gear for themselves.

Educational institutions bring their students to experience the historical section where artifacts (old cameras, pictures and films) are displayed and they stay for the workshops which cover topics from the industry laws right through to extreme forms of image making.

Numerous international guest speakers join the top local representatives in showcasing their work and discussing various industry topics. A full workshop schedule is available on the website.

Visitors to the event can enter contests at the event, skill based and lucky draw, to win themselves their share of over R800 000 worth of equipment.
