Taste of Joburg 2012
Foodies and festival-lovers alike will be thrilled to hear that the Pick n Pay Taste of Joburg in association with Orbit Sugarfree Chewing Gum makes its way back to the City of Gold from 27 - 30 September at the Montecasino Outdoor Event Area.
Celebrating its sixth year and held as part of the "MTN Larger than Life Festival", this amazing food feast is guaranteed to remain the highlight in Joburg's culinary calendar.
Fourteen of Joburg's top restaurants will join together to serve the fabulous, trend-setting signature dishes that have made them so popular with budding gourmands and critics alike. The list of participating restaurants and chefs include the likes of Marthinus Ferreira from dw eleven-13, Andrew Atkinson from Piccolo Mondo at The Michelangelo and Coco Reinarhz from Sel et Poivre and Le Petit Sel to name but a few.
Then in keeping with the hottest trend to hit the restaurant scene globally, a new addition to this year's event is the Taste of Joburg Pop-Up Restaurant, where a handful of guest chefs will 'pop' in to cook their signature dishes at during a Taste session.
The impressive list of participating restaurants, award-winning wineries, premium drinks brands, extraordinary exhibitors and entertainment will guarantee that there will be something sensational on offer to appeal to every palate and taste.
