The expo is the only established event of its kind in the country to bring together people with disabilities (PWDs), their families, their caregivers and service providers. Disability 2012 is committed to improving the lives of those with developmental and physical disabilities, their families, colleagues and professionals who work with them.
This years show features a wide representation of assistive product and services for people of all ages and encompassing the full spectrum of disabilities - enabling people to meet suppliers and get first hand advice and guidance on their products and services. The show organisers have put together a spectacular line up of informative, educational and interactive events programme.
Conference
The 2012 ACSA Disability Conference will once again provide a platform for discussion and development. Bringing together participants from various sectors the Conference strives to promote and support the rights of people with disabilities. This integral forum is a must-attend for Governmental Departments, SMEs and Persons with Disabilities, Human Resource Managers, Association Leaders, Consultants, Training Managers, Managing Directors as well as Financial Institutions and NGOs. This years conference theme is "Solutions for Delivery to People with Disabilities" and will include contributions for both government and the private sector.
The ACSA Disability Conference will once again address issues affecting this often marginalised sector of the community and aims to develop and implement sustainable resolutions. This years conference is supported by the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) and the South African Disability Alliance (SADA) brining new relevance and credibility to the event.
