There will also be on offer a variety of workshops from djembe drumming, African dances to steelpan playing as well as featuring the DPHS gumboot dancing workshops.
All workshops and performances are open to the public. There will be something for the entire family. There will also be a flea market and many food stalls. So you can shop till you drop while you are being entertained.
This is a proudly South African event which is open to the rest of the world. How proud we will be when we show off through this festival how far South Africa has come in its emerging democracy. This festival has attracted young and old, black and white, abled and physically and mentally challenged people from not only the privileged communities of our country and abroad but also from rural areas and disadvantaged communities.
