Incredible India Day at Brightwater CommonsIndia Club in association with Brightwater Commons welcomes the public to their annual festive celebration of Incredible India Day. The Indian Experience! South Africans and tourists can spend the day experiencing the sights and sounds of India. An exciting array of dance and musical performances will keep both young and old entertained. Last year saw the tribal Indian dance group perform for the first time in South Africa and this year promises another exciting line-up of artists rarely seen in South Africa. India Club has commissioned a special cast of traditional artists who will descend into Brightwater Commons from India to lend this celebration a truly traditional flavour. The line up of the entertainment program includes the colourful Bihu dancers from North Eastern India, folk dances from Orissa, Rajasthan and Bengal, the Lavni performers of Maharashtra and local fusion performances from homegrown 'Mzansi'. Need to wind down after a long week? Experience an authentic Indian head or upper shoulder massages and reflexology treatments available during the course of the day. The Incredible India Tourism representative will be available to share travel information, destination brochures and much more for those keen on learning more about the diverse and exciting holiday options to India. Tempt your taste buds with an array of authentic Indian food which will take you on a gourmet journey while you watch India's arts and culture come alive on stage. Brightwater Commons will ensure that visitors enjoy a pleasant outing with various amenities such as a kids play center with loads of activities to help keep the young ones busy. About Ganesha Communications About The Brightwater Commons One of the highlights of the centre is its' musical fountains, which operate from 7:30pm to 7:45pm on Mondays to Thursdays and at 7pm to 7:45pm, 8pm to 8:45pm and 9pm to 9:45pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the summer period (Sept- April). During the winter period (May - August), the times will all be moved half an hour earlier. The centre provides something for every family member. Whilst parents can enjoy the convenience of a Pick 'n Pay or relax at any one of the numerous restaurants, teens and children can visit Boogaloos Skatepark.
