Sisters of the Moon - Healing Waters two concertsThe music will take you on a journey weaving works with Andean pan-flutes, African Mhupe, guitars, percussion and more... with a vast array of well know greats like The Cure, David Bowie, Schubert, Peter Tosh, YaZoo, U2 and even Julie Andrews, and more.. including their own unique eclectic earth love rhythms and stories. Shamanzi now has a Loop Pedal too. Just take a moment to imagine ...an evening of entertainment: original songs and stories of Shamanzi, covers, fire dance, light hoop, clown welcoming. Family friendly. Davide Tomsu (lead musician and composer of Shamanzi, World eclectic tones and Afro-Ska-Rock rhythms) joins forces with Lauren Amy Hofmeyr, (who's voice some say is our very own Lisa Garred as lead vocalist) are currently rehearsing for their upcoming benefit concerts in and around Cape Town during the month of June and early July. The cause: these special benefit concert will pay homage to woman and her passion for life and living. A woman (who wishes to remain anonymous) in need of Shamanzi's help, with no-one else to turn to. So we offer our talents, come and join us and celebrate community. We are asking a sliding scale door charge: R20 - R200 pp, and will be sending around a magic hat at the end of the show too :) We are asking members of the audience to bring a candle to light in McGregor and at Novalis :) We'd like to fill all venues, so tell everybody.
