The CEPWI Inspection 2012 Conference

The construction, engineering and public works inspection 2012 conference.
Theme: "Compliance tools and expert advice for construction inspection on buildings, water and waste water projects, civil engineering and electrical projects."

Due to the high cost of material/products used in construction, material inspection cannot be overlooked as this has caused plant/sites to be closed and in some cases claimed the life of workers. Insurance companies share the challenge of claims resulting from poor inspection scheduling procedures which can be a major risk in the organisation's operations.

This event has been designed for inspectors of buildings, construction project, construction sites, electrical engineering, roads, mining, highways, pipelines, reservoirs, water and waste water projects, hydroelectric and other large engineering projects.

The project will assist inspectors to be more effective and efficient, saving time and preventing costly mistakes. It will aid ineffectively integrating the decision making roles of the owner, contractor, designers, and inspector and on methods of solving such conflicts. The event will provide delegates with the latest information on inspection scheduling and close out procedures. The project will provide practical checklists which will remind inspectors and construction professionals (architects, engineers, project and construction managers etc.) of important matters so that cases will be defensible in a court of law.

Date: 20 August 2012 to 21 August 2012
Venue: Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Cape Town
