TIA open innovation challenge workshopTIA invites interested parties and potential solvers including individual inventors, SMMES, large companies, researchers, academia, NGOs and members of the public to a public engagement workshop on the open innovation challenge. The open innovation challenge on Ocean Current Energy Technologies is aligned to TIA's mandate to "Stimulate and intensify technological innovation in order to improve economic growth and the quality of life of all South Africans by developing and exploiting technological innovations". The challenge was launched on 1 of June 2012.
