Public relations is important for successful marketing, so public relations practitioners need to understand and speak the marketer's language.
This two day workshop is designed to introduce delegates to the principles of marketing and to give insights and provide examples of the practical application of marketing philosophy and principles.
It will also provide an adequate base for delegates to move on to the practical application of marketing - through objective analysis and development of appropriate strategies and marketing plans.

About our Facilitator
Ian Calaca has been lecturing marketing and strategy for the past seven years, at various tertiary institutions around Johannesburg.
After a short stint in the service industry, Ian studied marketing and got into lecturing by "accident".
In addition to marketing and strategy, Ian also lectures statistics, consumer behaviour, international marketing and marketing research. He has recently founded a small training company that tutors correspondence students studying towards marketing qualifications.
