BAM consultancy - international trade training

This three to five day course is aimed at providing delegates with an understanding of the inter-relationship between the key export administration aspects.

The programme covers the practical application of how to effectively handle these technical issues in the export environment. It is very practical and will also highlight potential problems resulting from incorrectly appied technical aspects and how to avoid them or lessen their impact.

Course content:
1. The new incoterms 2010 (from EXW to DDP)
2. Methods of payment : Letters of credit and bank collections, cash in advance and open account
3. Enquiry documents - qoutations, pro-forma invoice
4. Instruction documents - forwarding, shipping, packing
5. Declaration, bill for collection schedule
6. Transport documents - sea, rail, road, air
7. Certificates of origin - GSP Form A, EUR1, SADC and the Chamber of Commerce
8. Other documentary requirements - health, fumigation, phytosanitary, and consular requirements etc.
9. All the documents required by the Lesotho Customs and Excise and reserve bank including:
- SAD 500/501/502, Transit Doc
- Tax Invoice and Commercial Invoices
- Exchange control
- Inspection certificate
- Certificate of origin
- AGOA, SADC and EUR1
- Canadian certificate
- Lesotho government movement certificate (LGMC) and DSDC GSP (Form A)

The Facilitator is Ms. Linda Holtes : She is on of the twenty people globally accredited by ICC in Paris to present INCOTERMS 2010. She is an IMM graduate and has been a lecturer at UNISA on their Economics and Marketing Programmes.
