Add Hope - wall of hope - unveiling

In an effort to draw much needed attention to the undeniably worthy cause of
child hunger, KFC Add Hope will be unveiling an interactive art installation.

In the world, right now, there are almost a billion people at risk of starvation, 239 million of them in Sub-Saharan Africa. Yes, the numbers seem almost incomprehensible but there is hope, Add Hope: A national feeding scheme and the passionate brainchild of KFC - made possible by the support and partnership of both the public and the KFC brand.

Titled the Wall of Hope, this thought-provoking piece is forged from steel and consists of 5500 silhouetted childlike figures, each with an obviously empty tummy - but the empty tummies needn't stay that way.

Standing 1.8 metres high and 115 meters long, the interconnected wall panels bend around the Piazza to form what from ground level appears to be a maze, but from above writes out a word that this initiative has made reality in so many children's lives: Hope.
