PEP launches cellular stores
Having positioned itself as one of the biggest retailers of pre-paid cellular products in South Africa, PEP is now opening its first stand-alone cellular stores. The first PEPcell store opens on 31 July 2008 in Khayelitsha; the second store opens in Parow Centre on 1 August; the third store opens in Nyanga on 15 August.
The new PEPcell stores will carry a much wider range of cellular products than is available in the main PEP store network. The new outlets will also sell contracts for all the major networks in selected stores - a first for the brand.
Around 20 stores are planned within the first twelve months, with the project kicking off in the Western Cape before national roll-out.
