Siyakha Consulting's Cape Town region is hosting a breakfast event to celebrate casual day 2011
The breakfast will enable employers the opportunity to network with disability associations and listen to three presentations about disabilities from specialists in the field.
Hosted by Kate Shead, the Regional Director of Siyakha Consulting, attendees will be able to listen to Hillary Lane, the CEO Western Cape Cerebral Palsy Association, share her journey as a person with Cerebral Palsy, with a particular focus on her working career.
The audience will also hear from Anthony Ghillino, the Project Manager of the QuadPara Association of the Western Cape. Anthony will speak about the reality of living with a mobility impairment and the challenges wheelchairs users face on a daily basis.
The third speaker on the programme is René Minnies from the Cape Mental Health Society. She will provide insight on mental disabilities, one of the most marginalised and misunderstood of all disabilities.
The event will take place between 08:30 to 10:30. For more information and to book, contact Loni Hutchison at 021 421 5478 or email az.oc.ahkayis@inol
