The TourismBiz Conference will be presented alongside the Destinations and Drinks Fair. The first two days are hosted at the Cape Sun Hotel and is scheduled for conference presentations by industry experts on the growth and marketing of destinations and tourism businesses. The last day, 26 August, is earmarked for the TourismBiz Networking and Product Education breakfast for tour operators, travel agents and industry role players.
Cape Town's Holiday & Travel show, the Destinations Expo is scheduled to take place a week later than originally scheduled. This change is due to the show taking on a new and exciting format as the Destinations & Drinks Fair. The event will take place from 6pm to 10am daily.
Visitors will be able to discover and gather more information on top holiday destinations while tasting premium drinks ranging form wine to whisky as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
The organisers stated that the revised format was a strategic business decision in the looming tough economic times.
Tickets for the Destinations & Drinks Fair are R100 per person and include a tasting glass, goodie bag, canapé's and tastings. Tickets are available from www.drinksfair.co.za, but hurry only a limited number of tickets are available per evening.
Tickets for the TourismBiz Conference are priced at R1500 per person for both days and R950 per person for a single day. The TourismBiz Breakfast on Friday 26 August is priced at R350 per ticket. Tickets to both these events are available from www.tourismbiz.net
