Charlie graduated from Stellenbosch University with a BA (Law) LLB. She completed her articles in Cape Town and practised as an attorney for 10 years. She then spent 13 years in the corporate world as Group Legal Advisor and Compliance Officer for a leading national retailer and financial services provider. She started at RTK in 2008. She has served on various committees across industry as a whole including working groups designated to attend legislative change. Charlie drafted Parliamentary submissions on the National Credit Act on behalf of the Credit Providers Association. She also serves as a representative on the BUSA committee.
