Africa Rail is Africa's only railway conference and exhibition with attendees from all over Africa and access to top class international solutions providers. It's about strategic finance, investment and operational solutions for Africa's rail operators.

The 2011 Africa Rail conference and exhibition promises to be a dynamic and informative event. The conference has been carefully crafted to address the issues that matter most to rail professionalsacross Africa and will feature leading experts providing insights and solutions to operators, developers, governments and investors.
In its' 14th year, Africa Rail is the only railway conference and exhibition held on the continent and hosts attendees from all over Africa. The conference provides access to world-class international solutions providers as well as an instrumental networking platform of strategic potential partners. Pioneers of the industry will guide attendees on the key requirements for developing successful railway structures in Africa.
The conference will address pertinent issues facing the industry including, exploring high speed rail, PPP models as a funding alternative, the growth impact of privatisation and concessioning, to name but a few. Taking place at Sandton Convention Centre from 27th June to 1st July 2011, a host of international and local speakers will address attendees, including:

The workshops will focus on how high speed rail can compete with air and road, how to secure a rapid rail venture in Africa and the secrets of private rail financing.
The 2011 Africa Ports & Harbours Congress will be hosted together with Africa Rail 2011.
