OVERALL SUMMARY
This course is for beginners as well as those that have prior knowledge of the program. Programs like Photoshop give us an incredible amount of scope when it comes to enhancing and 'fine-tuning' our photographs. This program is specifically designed to make you more than comfortable in the Photoshop workspace, and provide you with skills to edit and enhance your photographs with confidence - resulting in professional, creative photographs.
The course starts off with a very comprehensive overview on the Photoshop environment - making sure you feel at home in the Photoshop workspace. You learn to identify problems in your images and how to go about fixing them in an efficient and smart way. We then move into thoroughly covering all the tools commonly used for photography (colour correction, fixing imperfections, lighting, exposure, brightness etc.) as well as some extra tips, tricks, effects and fun excercises.
The course runs over four Saturday afternoons. Notes are provided with every lesson, making it easier for you to remember all that you learn. Excercise (home-work) suggestions are also provided, but not compulsory. The course finishes off with an overall summary of everything we've learnt and a final chance to ask any questions.
