Decadent Africa year-end celebration
The Barefoot Contessa will be hosting another Decadent Year-end Celebration. This year it will be held at The SA State Theatre and holds the promise to be bigger and better than ever before.
Showcasing the creative talents of selected individuals, indulging in the beauty of the venue and providing opulent décor and entertainment that live up to the theme, Decadent Africa will be about indulging in all that Africa has to offer; its history, wars, warriors and kings to African queens, art, arabesque, poetry, music and dance...
The Barefoot Contessa stands for everything that is over the top, grandiose and magnificent and opposes all that is negative, sad and fearful. In this context, the Decadent Celebration is a statement against the impact of the economic downturn, the fear of crime, thoughts of emigration and worry about the future of South Africa. It is a celebration of all that is good in one of the most beautiful, entrepreneurial and free countries in the world.
As a token of gratitude for a phenomenal year, the Contessa will donate 10% of ticket sales to a selected charity.
