TV acting workshop

Learn everything from introduction to acting, body language, voice and script reading over the weekend.

I'm sure we all know that becoming an Actor / TV Presenter in South Africa is not an easy ticket to a life of fame and fortune. Like many jobs in the media, it takes hard work, training, and a firm commitment to developing your craft and this mainly because the industry is so competitive, with hundreds of aspirant individuals wanting to "break-into the market".

Our one-day actors training workshop introduces you to all the fundamentals of screen acting as well as basics of theatre / stage acting. Thrown in the deep end, but in a relaxed and creative environment you will be taught all there is to be known about acting.

Introduction to Acting
Script Reading
Confidence and Energy Building and Channeling Acting games Applying Emotions Body language and movement...

...and more. All exercises are recorded on camera, and one-on-one feedback is provided through crits and video playback. While the crash course runs for the duration of seven hours, individual attention is kept throughout the workshop as we have small groups.
