Contact: Libé Ferreira (BA Drama. MA Lit.Sc., CEO: W.I.P.A.Z)
W.I.P.A.Z., What If Performing Arts Zone, is a training centre where we don't
look at your level of expertise on entry level. We look at your passion and
determination to develop your talent as an actor/script writer/director/
cinematographer/crew member in the performing arts industry. We don't step
on your dreams - we help you reach your dreams by developing spontaneity,
awareness, collaboration, confidence, self-knowledge and much more in a fun-
filled environment. That's W.I.P.A.Z. in a nut shell for you.
A few tit-bits about myself: I have been in the performing arts industry since 1984 and have extensive experience as casting director, acting coach, television and film script writer.
In the 80's I worked for PACT, SWAPAC and the SABC. In the 90's I was nominated for two Artes Awards for Excellence in Language Dubbing.
I have been a permanent casting director, script writer and dialogue coach for
Franz Marx Films since 2002 and have cast and coached, amongst others,
Corine du Toit (Jane in Egoli), Izak Davel (Scab), Jana Strydom (Marcelle),
Hykie Berg (Darius), Dineke Scholtz (Zaniele) and the list continues...
