The Sol Plaatje Institute for Media Leadership, Rhodes University, South Africa, is running a high level, five-day Government Media course for government communicators, editors and journalists at the SPI.
All our courses are fully accredited and registered on the national qualifications framework.
The course in September will also focus on journalists and their source; the proposed Protection of Information Acts and its implications to media freedom and the Media Appeals Tribunal; the pros and cons and simulation of press conferences, one-on-one interviews and telephonic interviews.
