AMASA Cape Town July meeting: Cannes Media Lions 2
Anne Van Rensburg is Media Director of The Jupiter Drawing Room (Cape Town) and has just returned from Cannes where she enjoyed the distinct honour of serving as a judge on the Cannes Lions 2010 Media Jury.
The Media jury focused on ideas that were human and simple, which delivered an immersive brand experience and of course produced effective brand-building results. The jury looked for focused creativity in media, not just brilliant ideas, but moreover, ideas that worked.
Anne will share with us a firsthand perspective from the Media 2010 Cannes Lions Jury including some of these great media ideas and insights into trends at Cannes this year, what if feels like to hear a vuvuzela on the Promenade de la Croisette, as well as an overall glimpse into the breathtaking, inspiring and surreal experience that is Cannes!
