5 for Change benefit

The inaugural 5 for Change benefit to raise social awareness amongst Cape Town's business professionals for five local social enterprises identified for making a pertinent and notable difference in the lives of others, took place at The Runway on Saturday 21 January 2012.

Despite the heat of the day, guests and A-listers turned up dressed to impress at one of Cape Town's only black tie events.

The evening began with a heart-warming welcome from Hollywood Actress Kristanna Loken and Good Hope FM DJ Guy McDonald, followed by an incredible auction conducted by Richard Gore. The music line-up included the sensational Jeremy Loops, IScreamStix and the Wedding DJs.

All proceeds raised from fundraising and profits from the evening will be donated to the five participating social enterprises. The five selected in the inaugural 2012 campaign are: Let There be Light, Greenpop, MyLife, African Brothers Football Academy and Write on Africa.
