Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography students shineThe Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography had an extremely successful year in 2016. The Academy was voted the number one educational institution by the Loeries and the Pendorings. In addition, our students were recognised in various competitions during the year. The details: Lhente Strydom – WorldStar Student Certificate of Merit for her ‘Expand your Potential with Futurelife.'  Student Gold Pack Awards – Gold and Bronze! The results of the Student Gold Pack Awards were announced and the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography is delighted to announce that Lhente Strydom won the overall student gold and was the winner of Project 1, while Stephanie Le Roux won an overall student bronze and was named runner- up of Project 2. Our finalists, who also received certificates of recognition, were: Ashton Winkworth, Alida van der Westhuizen and Alexandra Hanson. The Academy is extremely proud of these students’ achievements. Two of our students accepted into ISTD It’s been a year of great news and we’ve got even more to share with you! Two of our students, Caylin van der Walt and Saffron Shaw have just been accepted into the International Society of Typographic Designers after undergoing rigorous, painstaking assessment!
