UberEATS launches in Cape TownHaving launched in Johannesburg four months ago, UberEATS, an on-demand food delivery app powered by Uber, will start serving Cape Town. UberEats will be celebrating their official launch this evening in a villa in Camps Bay, where guests will be wined and dined by HQ, one of UberEATS restaurant partners. Capetonians will be able to sample HQ’s delicious food items on the app which includes the likes of Sirloin Cubes with Café de paris butter, Wild Mushroom Risotto balls, Salmon Pancakes Roulade and Open Lamb Sliders with brie and avo. Restaurant partners‘Eaters’ in Cape Town City Bowl, Camps Bay, the Atlantic Seaboard, Woodstock and Observatory can now look forward to getting their favourite meals at the tap of a button, as Uber has partnered with a selection of the most popular restaurants and eateries in these areas. UberEATS aims to expand the delivery area across Cape Town and will add more restaurants in the coming weeks.
