FCB takes Gold at CannesFCB Johannesburg scooped a Gold Direct Lion at the 54th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival last night, Monday, 18 June 2007. Tequila\Johannesburg walked off with a Bronze Direct Lion, and Net#work BBDO Johannesburg scooped a Promo Lion. The Direct Agency of the Year went to Shackleton, Madrid, followed by Nordpol+, Hamburg and TBWA\Germany, Berlin. This award is given to the agency in one country that obtains the highest score for entries in the Direct Lions section, irrespective of whether these have been entered by the agency or another party.
