Dirty Rotten Tequila 2

The second instalment of the Dirty Rotten Tequila Festival is to take place at Carfax in Newtown, Joburg, on Friday, 1 May, 2015. It will feature more than 20 tequilas, two stages, eight bands and six DJs.

The organisers promise a dirtier and bigger festival with over 20 different tequilas, shooter games, a rodeo bull, a #TequilaFace photo booth and a music line-up to feed the dancing souls and their rock 'n roll.

Dirty Rock Stage will feature artists like: Blazin Gooch, Coelacanth, Full Swing Band, Go Barefoot, New Academics, Sol Gems, The Black Cat Bones and The Ts & Cs. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for line-up times.

Finest and wisest DJs

To cater for the diverse, The Dirty Rotten Tequila Festival also has the Let's Swing It Dance Floor for the more electronic-hearted dancing junkies - featuring some of Jozi's finest and wisest DJs, such as Plaat Japie, The Stage Pig, Michael Lesar's three-hour set, featuring Greg Georgiades on ukulele and a live burlesque performance by Miss Oh.

There will be an array of food vendors available ranging from Mexican to Greek and a Proudly South African stall.
