Vespa design deadline extended

Vespa South Africa and its advertising agency Guerrilla Marketing are inviting all art directors and designers to get their creative juices flowing and enter the Art Vespa competition to win a Vespa LX 150. The deadline for entries has been extended to 31 January 2007.

The same rules apply. Break them. Except the 31 January deadline. The winner will be judged by international designer Francessco Meffe from Piaggio and will be unveiled at the Design Indaba Expo, 23 - 25 February 2007, in Cape Town.

So take advantage of the quiet time towards the end of the year and go to www.vespa.co.za, download a Vespa LX "canvas" and decorate it with your own design. Enter as many canvasses as you like.

Tip: art Vespas are like billboards - the simpler the designs, the more effective they are.
