Engie appoints new country manager for South Africa

Engie has announced the appointment of Sanjeev Mungroo as country manager for South Africa, effective 1 June 2026.

In his new role, he will lead Engie’s South African business as the country’s electricity market continues to evolve through market liberalisation, new procurement programmes, growing private-sector participation, and increased demand for reliable and lower-carbon energy solutions.
