The Trek premieres in South African cinemas

The cast and crew of The Trek gathered at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on 23 July to celebrate the South African premiere of Meekaaeel Adam's feature directorial debut. Set in the Kalahari in 1846, the horror-western follows a group of settlers pursued by a mysterious and ancient force, blending historical drama, psychological thriller and supernatural horror into a distinctly South African story.
