Kgadima was later removed by security guards.

"He wasn't threatening. He was just obstinate. He wouldn't give his cooperation," Zibi told The Times.

Samuel Mungadze reported in Business Day yesterday that former cabinet minister Zola Skweyiya was one of more than 250 aggrieved people who had invested their money in Kgadima's coalmining project called LontohCoal.

Skweyiya is considering laying criminal charges against Kgadima over the R3m he allegedly lost. He told Business Day yesterday that Kgadima ran a "swindling" scheme and made promises of large profits.

Kgadima arrived at the newspaper with a video camera and asked to tape Zibi.

Kgadima also made accusations about Mungadze but refused to answer questions related to the published story, Zibi said.
