Wholesale trade sales up 5.9% y/y in September
Wholesale trade sales rose 5.9% year on year (y/y) in September‚ Statistics SA data showed on Thursday, 13 November 2014.

Sales were measured in real terms using constant 2012 prices.
Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales increased by 1.7% in September 2014 compared with August 2014. This followed month-on-month changes of 4% in August 2014 and -4.7% in July 2014.
Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 0.4% in the third quarter of 2014 compared with the previous quarter.
Measured in nominal terms (current prices)‚ wholesale trade sales increased by 12.7% in September 2014 compared with September 2013.
Wholesale trade sales increased by 6.9% in the third quarter of 2014 compared with the third quarter of 2013.
