Femme in Public South Africa

U.S performance artist/activist/poet Alok Vaid-Menon joined forces with some of South Africa’s trans and gender-non-conforming artists in a creative collaboration titled “Femme in Public”.

“Femme in Public” saw the Vaid-Menon and Joshua Allen team up with Cape Town stylists, designers, photographers, musicians, writers, activists and performance artists to document a live fashion protest across the streets of Cape Town.
