Tom Morello to join E Street Band in SA on Springsteen tour

When Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band play in Cape Town and Joburg in January/February 2014, The E-Street band will include a number of top musicians including Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine.

Morello, a self-taught guitarist, formed part of Rage Against the Machine - one of the most influential bands of the 1990s. He is known for his unique and creative playing style and was influential in crafting Rage Against the Machine's signature sound. After Zack de la Rocha left Rage Against the Machine, the remaining members were joined by former Soundgarden front man, Chris Cornell, and formed Audioslave. Once again, Morello was instrumental in forging Soundgarden's unique style. After Audioslave's dispersal in 2007, Morello produced his own solo album under the moniker the Nightwatchman and played with various artists, most recently, the E Street Band.
