Shaun Jacobs to open for Nickleback
Local rising star Shaun Jacobs will be the opening act for Nickelback, who will be coming to South Africa for two Joburg dates on Friday, 6 and Sunday, 8 December at the Coca-Cola dome and two Cape Town dates at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on Wednesday 11 and Thursday, 12 December 2013.
The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and record producer Shaun Jacobs is well known for his sentimental and anthemic folk rock. His single Love Can from the album of the same name topped the charts on South African radio stations and stayed at number one on the local iTunes charts for 12 weeks. His latest single, End of the Road, made it into the top-20 local tracks on the iTunes single chart and is playlisted on most national stations. His album debuted at number four on the iTunes album chart the day it launched.
