Unilever Food Solutions Chef of the Year winners announced

Themed 'A Cut Above', the Unilever Food Solutions Chef of the Year mystery basket national finals held on 8 September in Durban, saw participants in the junior and senior categories create recipes using Unilever Food Solutions products for a starter, main and dessert course.

Henrico Grobbelaar from Tsogo Sun's Southern Sun The Cullinan in Cape-Town and Richard Ellis from 1000 Hills Chefs School in Durban, were announced winners in the senior and junior categories, respectively. Also in the second category, second place went to Michaela van der Merwe from Kloof Street House in Cape Town and third place to Sydney Nyandeni from the South African embassy in Vienna, Austria. For Junior Chef of the Year category, Aaron Subroyal from 1000 Hills Chefs School in Kwazulu-Natal won second place and Amerae Vercueil from Ameroozle in Johannesburg won third.
