Katherine & West the 'Coolest building in Jozi'

Barrow Properties' mixed-use building on the corner of Katherine and West Streets in Sandton, Johannesburg was hailed 'Coolest Building in Jozi' by the public.

This ten storey AAA grade office building with seven luxurious penthouses atop and its glass façade scooped the people's votes.

Earlier this year, Ash Brook Commercial Properties launched an innovative competition, City Peaks, to enable the public to vote for their 'Coolest building in Jozi' and spread excitement and inspiration across the commercial property industry.

Ash Brook approached various landlords and asked them to nominate their favourite buildings which were showcased on the City Peaks competition website to highlight the diversity and great aesthetics of Jozi's architecture, both old and new.

Over a four week period during the month of August, the public were invited to go online and choose their favourite architectural piece which culminated in Katherine & West's win.

The competition will soon roll out to Cape Town and Durban.
