Junior Indaba

The aim of this event is two-fold, the first being to create a platform for strategic thinking and interactive conversation about the junior mining sector in South Africa, with the intention of aiding the advancement and development of this sector.

The second aim is to provide a forum for interaction between investors and project owners around Africa, with the intention of exploring opportunities for investment that will lead to the development of the resources and mining industry in Africa's mining jurisdictions.

The Joburg Indaba, Resources 4 Africa's flagship event has established itself as a high level strategic event where captains of industry speak openly and frankly about issues affecting the industry. These very same principles of dynamic engagement with the industry will be the cornerstone of the 2015 Junior Indaba.

The need for better representation for the junior sector in South Africa was a message that came across loud and clear at the 2014 Joburg Indaba and one that was endorsed by the Minister of the DMR, Advocate Ngoako Ramatlhodi. Our intention is to reestablish a vibrant and dynamic forum where collective thinking can take place and strategies formulated in an engaging, interactive and intimate environment.

And we intend to put together a cast of active investors and project owners who will give you an overview of the diverse investment opportunities in Africa's key commodity sectors.
