The Pedigree Dog Adoption Awareness Day

Pedigree and Joanne & Oscar from The World Woof Tour are working together to raise awareness to the importance of dog adoption across SA. Pedigree believe that every dog deserves the chance of a loving home and is championing causes such as The World Woof Tour which make the lives of dogs better.

The Tour saw animal lover Joanne Lefson and her rescued dog Oscar travel five continents in 222 days. They visited 30 countries and over 15,000 shelter dogs in a mission to promote dog adoption globally.

Oscar's World Woof Tour began in May 2009 and his quest involved hand gliding over Rio, riding elephants and camels, swimming in the Trevi Fountain and hot air ballooning over the Namib Desert.
