The movie premiere left guests speechless at how sincere and inspiring the story was and in awe of the natural beauty of our country, not only in its vast landscapes but in the people that call South Africa home. Kick Off were responsible for hosting the premiere and feature predominantly in the movie as being the number one soccer magazine all South Africans reach for when they want to know more about the sport.

Themba depicts the triumph of the human spirit and how belief in oneself and one's talent is tantamount to never giving up. Themba goes behind the pin-up posters of soccer stars and shows us what really makes for a hero.

The movie is directed by Stefanie Sycholt, based on the book by co-founder of HOKISA and author, Dr Lutz van Dijk, and was released at all Ster-Kinekor and Nu-Metro cinemas nationwide on Friday, 16 July. It stars, among others, Doctor Khumalo, Jens Lehman and singer, Simphiwe Dana.

More recently Kick Off were also responsible for bringing the World Cup news to South Africans as and when it happened with a weekly magazine and Africa's biggest stand-alone sports website, www.KICKOFF.com.
