Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Open Championship with Golf Digest's July issue

There is life after soccer, so don't miss out on the July issue of Golf Digest on shelves now, for an in-depth look at the Open Championship being played at St Andrews from July 15 to 18. More than 35 pages of the magazine have been dedicated to honouring the Old Course and celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first championship played in 1860.

"The July issue is an exciting one for Golf Digest. We are devoting a large part of the issue to previewing the Open at St Andrews, with stories on everything from the history, the course, the bunkers, to my own stay at the Old Course Hotel," says Stuart Mclean, editor of Golf Digest.

Included in this issue is a Jaime Diaz interview with three-time Open champion Seve Ballesteros, who is returning to St Andrews for the first time since he was diagnosed with brain cancer two years ago. David Owen writes about his visit to all of the 14 courses that have hosted the Open in the last 150 years and read about how Bobby Locke won at St Andrews in 1957. Also find out why Johann Rupert will be joining three former Open champions at the University of St Andrews graduation ceremony.

Golf Digest, one of Touchline Media's thriving sporting titles, is one of the world's largest global sports publications reaching 168 000 readers monthly and targeting men and women between the ages of 35 and 49 years old with an LSM 9-10.
