The celebrations were held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of former South African President, Mr Nelson Mandela's release from imprisonment on Robben Island, on 11 February 1990, where he had been held prisoner for 27 years. This primary school was built and opened by President Nelson Mandela in 2004. These pupils were pleased to be the first recipients in Africa to receive these limited edition playing cards.
The event was a huge success and all had an enjoyable day. We know that these students will derive endless fun and learning from playing with these FIFA™ World Cup Playing Cards.
