Inscape Education Group is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997, DHET Registration Certificate no.2000/HE07/002 for the following courses: Bachelor of Design Degree, specialising in: Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Idea Generation (NQF: 7), Diploma in Interior Design and Diploma in Graphic Design (NQF 6), Higher Certificate in: Design Techniques, Architectural Technology, Interior Decorating and Fashion Design (NQF 5)
We are also accredited by the Council of Higher Education (CHE) and registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Accessibility to education is very close to our hearts and widening access forms part of our unique thinking approach to life.
As such, we had the privilege of partnering with SABC Education in an exciting initiative to sponsor R1 Million rand worth of design bursaries to students wanting to enter tertiary studies at Inscape in 2016.
The aim of this initiative was to uplift and provide a platform to disadvantaged learners who, showed academic excellence, yet did not have the resources financially to pursue their studies.
Students were able to apply for bursaries into any of our accredited Degree, Diploma or Higher certificate courses specilaising in: Ideation, Architecture, Graphic, Interior or Fashion Design respectively.
The response to this competition was phenomenal with 285 applications received. Of the 285 applicants, Inscape’s board of directors further identified 41 potential candidates who were put through as finalists and attended interviews and workshops at their respective campuses.
After a thorough selection process, 16 students were identified nationally to claim their share of R1 Million worth of design bursaries at Inscape Education Group for 2016.
Inscape is proud to have this phenomenal team join us in 2016, all winners, showed exceptional ability, academic excellence and were all round top achievers.
