Morningside Shopping Centre offers Artisan Market

Morningside Shopping Centre, Sandton, offers a new Saturday Artisan Market, where local crafters and artisans offer their handmade goods and quality food from 9.30am to 4pm.

The centre's manager, Nelia Teixeira-Scott says, "From original art to food, crafts, jewellery and clothing, shoppers will find genuine handmade objects of the finest quality."

Food lovers can indulge in an adventure of tastes with African coffee, French patisseries and the favours of Greece, including organic olives, biscuits and local organic olive oils. The culinary art charcuterie will tempt taste buds with hand-smoked meats.

Shoppers can enjoy a range of hand-styled items for the whole family. Choose from handmade embroidered towels, aprons, quilts or carefully crafted leather belts, 'Moulin Rouge' stockings or princess tutus. There is also a selection of handmade jewellery in silver or glass beads, sculptures, 3D African paintings, pewter vases and decorative painted boards.
