A well-established and reputable printing company based in the Sandton are is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team.
This exciting opportunity is ideally suited to a passionate design professional with strong conceptual ability, excellent technical skills, and proven experience within the printing industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing impactful visual communication solutions across a wide range of print and branding projects while working closely with clients, account managers, and production teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality print material including brochures, flyers, posters, catalogues, business cards, promotional items, and branding collateral
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand project objectives and translate briefs into compelling creative solutions
- Maintain brand consistency and visual integrity across all design projects
- Prepare and present design concepts and artwork for client approval
- Ensure artwork is print-ready and produced according to technical print specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards
- Liaise with production and print teams to ensure accurate final output
- Stay current with industry trends, design innovations, and emerging technologies
Minimum requirements
- Degree or diploma in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field
- Proven experience as a graphic designer within the printing, branding, retail, POS, or visual communications industry
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe creative suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and print-focused design work
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment
